RES-2000 Self Ejecting Plug Cutters

Some plug cutters make you work harder getting the plug out of the cutter. Not the RES-2000^® Radial Ejecting Stainless Steel plug cutter; once the first plug has been cut, the next gently pushes it out of the cutter:

• Aggressive, helical cut teeth quickly remove chips, so the cutter is always cutting new wood with each revolution for faster, smoother and cooler running.
• Solid stainless steel; heat treated for extreme toughness and high performance.
• 1/2" shanks (3/8" plug cutter has 3/8" shank).
• Ejects non-tapered plugs up to 1" long.
• For use with drill presses only.
• Work must be secured to the drill press table with clamps or other jig or fixture.
• Backing board (user supplied) is recommended so as not to damage drill press table.
• Optimum speed is approximately 450 RPM.
• For best results drill approximately 1/4" into the work piece, raise cutter to clear chips and repeat until cutter penetrates backing board
